Beginning my instructing career on Saturday @ VIR - wish me luck!
Hi all:

Just wanted to let everyone know that after a few years of track driving and almost 20 track weekends, my instructing career officially begins this weekend at VIR Full Course with THSCC. I'll be an instructor in training with a mentor, but will have a "real" student. I'm a little nervous, only because I want my student to get the best possible experience and not be disappointed because I'm a newbie at instructing.

Being a good driver does not mean you can be a good instructor. I just hope I can do both!

Incidentally, this will also be my first time on Hoosiers and I also just bought a HANS device along with the new FIA-approved rollbar padding.

Wish me luck! I'll see you out there (although not in my M5 - my wife will be driving that. Here is my car
