Thanks for the pícs If I would choose and if they would have the same milaege I would definetly go for the 850 CSi, but its not a really fair comparison. M car vs a non M car

Great little teaser!
Personally I think the 8 is prettier but is beginning to look dated.
I am very interested in the upcoming M6 as a replacement for my E39 M5.
Back seat must be usable and I will need to place my own body into the car to see if this will work.
If so, rock on
If not, gosh, there is no clear answer...the new 5 makes me want to barf, or defect to-horrors- to an E55!

...Im growing up having the 850CSI as my dream car!
Im only 19years old so when the car came out I was a bit "lame" on knolegd about cars...but I felt in love with the car after my dad bought the E34 M5 and I saw a 850CSI at the dealer with the M5 rims Same as in the foto!
Some day in my late 20s I ll endup buying a 2nd had 850CSI (hope I can find one)

After the one I saw in the dealer back in 93 I only saw one more in a Kart race I did wich one of the drivers had a blue one(dark blue).
I don´t know how mutch they can cost but my dads M5 is worth 20.000€ no more , so the 850CSI can be a bit more....and its too hard to find!
If you could point me one I ll apriciate it!

I dont understand why so many people like these old cars? Perhaps because I'm more of a young bimmer fan. I dont see anything special about this one or the old 6 series either. They both look like any ordinary old car -- old and extremely outdated. Perhaps it was nice during its time but that time is LONG gone.
The new 6 and the bangle butt.. its just more modern. I'd take a modern car versus an antique car anyday but i think i'm alone on that one, atleast on message boards like this one. In reality obviously anyone would take the newer car.

Thats because you have no pation about cars!
When you "love" a car it will never seem outdated to you.
The M5 is now 11 years old and still new to me!
Some cars will never be outdated!

I would take the 645 rather then the 850!
The 850 is to too heavy and it is not a sports car. The 645 is on the way and the M6 defintly.
