Just found official pictures from BMW of the new warthog.. ..sorry.. ..X3 soon to be released. Either follow this link or go to www.roadfly.org and choose X3 from the bmw messageboard for pics.

I´m not exactly thrilled and would have expected a lot more from this model, especially the front.. Where´s the design consensus BMW? Where are the sleek X5 lines?

I've been quoted a delivery time of either Q2 '04 for the initial batch of X3s, or Q3 '04 for the second batch.
I suppose they're launching it in the US market first in order for them to sort out the initial production quality problems - before the finicky European get their hands on the first examples.
