There's no mention of it being for BMW drivers only but you never know, I doubt it though.
The price you'll find if you click on the "Dates" link.

If you want to drive the BMW M3 SMG it's 1680 EUR, in the BMW 330Ci SMG it's 1480 EUR.

Normally the BMW Driver Training is a step by step process that (for M) cars goes like:

1x Advanced Training (1 day)
1x Intensive Training (2 days)
2x Perfection Trainings (2 days each)
1x Race Track Fascination (2 days)
1x Race Track Experience (1 day)

You have to take them in the above order which makes the series long and expensive. For the Nordschleife circuit training, no requirements have been listed at the web site which makes me wonder whether it is an error or not. I would expect it to follow the Race Track Experience training and be the final level.

As it appears in the web site you can take that without any other training before. It's worth checking and I would be interested as well. May be we can form a bmwm5.com group?

Regards,

Ufuk

Not a bad idea! I, however, may not be able to go until August due to work and planned holidays.

Did you take any of the BMW driver trainings ? I'm interested in taking one or two (besides this one) to, hopefully, lower my insurance but definitely also to improve my driving /handling skills.

Forgot to mention. BMW Training is open to non BMW owners as well since one purpose is to attract new customers.

Again, english speaking groups are rare if we go individually so grouping makes sense.

Ufuk,

I remember checking it, if I recall correctly, Nurburgring course requires everyother courses. I wanted to attend M-Fahrer training last year but as you listed above, it requires several courses to get more exciting.
Therefore, I start looking for other training schools where you can go directly. Guidare pilotare is another one sponsered by BMW and Pirelli. Check www.guidarepilotare.com

There you drive M3s and the school is for 2 days.
However this summer, I'm planning to take my car to europe (Italy, France and Germany mainly) and want to drive it on the Ring instead of attending these kind of schools. Last year I was in south of France for a week and rent a car with my friend. During that period, I drove some 2000 km and really enjoyed the trip especially while going to Monte Carlo from St. Tropez.
This year, I want to do it with my car.

So let me know the outcome of the event. Maybe we can go to the Ring by our M3s. I can also attend this kind of bmwm5.com track/meeting event as long as it is between 10th of July and 15th of August.
