I was one of the few lucky ones..............

I paid $2000.00 off of the MSRP. Plus, I am qualified to apply & recieve an additonal $1000.00 rebate from BMWCCA, which brings my total savings to three grand! Not to bad!

I have a $1000 off.. but will haggle for an extra $1000.. I figure the 2g's will help toward an exhaust and a ssk.

Car is in NJ at the VPC waiting to be delivered to my dealer.

Any day now.. I hope

Isn't it just great to know our cars can still command near MSRP in their last year of production! My dad bought the last of the 740i's a year ago when BMW had $7500 in factory to dealer money and the dealers were discounting it even more. He walked out for slightly over $50k on that new car and while it made him happy, I'm sure it killed the people who paid $65k for it a few months earlier without the incentives.

How many other true production cars like the M5 have commanded MSRP for basically their entire model life! What a car BMW.
