What is included in Inspection I?

Can anyone let me know what is included in the Inspection I service? My car is going in on Monday to have it done. Does the brake fluid and coolent get changed?

Thanks for any info.

Brake fluid is changed every 2 years. Coolant every 3 years.

Just had my first Inspection I done yesterday.

They should also change the M-mobility bottle every 3 years.

Insp I doesnīt mean that they actually changes anything, except engine oil and oilfilter. Just checking up all important things to be within limits etc.

The other things, fluids etc. I mentioned, you have to tell them I think?

Hey Gobie,

Long time, buddy. I just did my inspection I last December at Allison's and they did not change the brake fluids. Then 2 weeks ago my SES light came on and stayed on. I took the car in right away and they said my CAM sensors had gone bad. They replaced them, and flushed my brake lines and change fluids 'per factory specifications'. . Wonder why they did not do that at Inspection I. I don't believe they did the coolent either. But if you're using another dealership that may differ.

BTW, I was at 31,500 miles at Inspection I. What's your mileage now?

Hi chunpng

You right! It has been a long time. I just had my first baby and that's why I haven't really been on the board much. My car is now at 27000 miles and East Bay BMW will be doing the work for me on Monday.

Thanks for the info.
