No, seriously, I don't think the noise is "normal," especially if you didn't hear it before. You'll note from your invoice on the 1200 mi. service that the main thing they do (maybe all they do) is change the transmission fluid. Maybe they put the wrong kind in it or not enough? Just a guess. But from your description of the noise, it does seem like it's something rotating at high speed, like gears....
