      Post CPT8000 on pre 1/00 built M5

Is this possible ? From what I can gather from the CPT8000 brochure & the BMW Digital phone website, the answer is no. My dealer says it can, even with Voice Recognition because of the PhaseIV wiring. Any comments would be appreciated.

I have done some research on just the phone part. (not the Voice Recognition) It is possible and the parts are out there. Check the Motorola website listed below for parts #'s.

No. Had only the base computer system. I'm upgrading it Monday to the full trip computer. That cost $550 plus install.
