Post So close, and now...

Are you kidding me?!? I put my deposit down 14 months ago, my Titanium/Black beast is ON THE WATER, due in NJ in 5 days, and a couple of days ago I tore the medial collateral ligament in my left knee playing ice hockey! I won't be able to drive a manual car for a month, if not more! Aaaarrrggghhhh!
The only upside is that I have found out what a great bunch of friends I have. They are sooo thoughtful, they are all offering to pick the car up for me and help me break it in. I tell you, it's a time like this when you find out who your true friends are!

This is too cruel!

John,

I know a lot of "friends" who would be happy or thrilled to breakin a new M5. In fact, I would bet friends would begin to appear for this particular task! Now if they would put the down payment on the car....well.

Hope you recover quickly and welcome to the club. Members check in but they don't check out.

Mark

John, Sorry to hear of your situation. I'm sure you'll have more friends than you knew you had. Normally it's difficult to get people to excersise their knee after an operation like this so the rehab takes longer than it could.

Something tells me you'll be in the medical journals for fastest recovery from knee surgery on record. Get well fasssst!
