First...pics of my NOWACK M5

I did some maths after working out tire height, gear ratio for 5th and the final gear ratio to come up with these numbers.......i'm pretty sure there accurate....so on the dyno readout 150kph equates to around 4000rpm in 5th...and 275kph is around 7000rpm. As you can see it really moves away from 4500 onwards. And that matched Nowack saying that it is absolutely BRUTAL from 4500rpm till 7000+rpm.
The other reading was of the engine when they first got it.

Hope these are ok....
I will send some more when she's in the final stages and all completed.
The pics with the 3 discs of different size are not quite right as the Porsche front one's are 15.2 inch and rear 12.9......the other disc must be off another BMW, just to show the comparision.
I wanted Nowack to copy the BB Triflo tips.....and i'm not sure that they made a very good copy?...don't have the small flat section on the tops of the tips.... what do you think.
I like the Triflo style....looks strong, and suits the cars rear end. So l may have to call BB and see if they could send some of the tips over to me???
I'm waiting for Nowack to send the brake lines over as they didn't come in the shipment, and then it's all done.

Very nice

Are you doing the engine install yourself or is it being done at a local shop? Interesting to see that the whole front bolts out of the M5 to facilitate engine swops.

Look forward to seeing more pics!!

Very very cool! I'm curious, why did they go with the stock airboxes?

Apples, Can't wait to read your first report when you get to drive it. I am sure that Nowak have done a great job and for the moment looks like you will have the ultimate M5 in US.

Congrats and keep the pictures coming

Dyno-chart

Just curious - but why does the dyno chart show output as a function of speed rather than engine rpm?

I can't believe all this is being done to a car that's not that old....
superb, the brakes look enormous, about the size of an average saloon cars wheel and tyre!!! the back boxes for the exhaust look fine, I can't wait to hear about the differences in how the car goes? go for it....!!

Man.. I would love to get the Nowack conversion!! I personnally like the fact that it is still normally aspirated.

Has anyone thought about dropping a supercharger on top of the nowack conversion? Is it even possible??

Anyways... congrats Apples!!

CONGRATS! Your determination paid off...

Even as a Tri-Flo owner, I happen to like your Nowack tips. Kinda reminds me of the Samson Rolled Thunder Ovals on my Hog. Also, it distinguishes your uber-Beast from us lowly B&B types.

Fantastic! You must be thrilled.
