The Lion King with its 20" Hartge Nova rims

Hi folks!

I have not had the time I wanted to take and post pics of my
car until now, but here are some pics for you to enjoy. The wheels
are 20 inch Hartge Nova style rims with 245/35 in from and
275/30 in he back (Pirelli PZero Asimmetrico).

You'll find some more pics of the car at:

http://hobbystage.net/bmwm5/fedde/

Best regards,

Fedde

20's nice! How is the ride? Is it much harder than 18's?

Fedde,

I just noticed that your beast doesn't have ///M5 badge on the side... Did you replace your side molding?

Rave M5: To be honest I do find the ride to be fairly smooth
anyway. It is of course harder than with smaller wheels, but
the change is not THAT big in terms of roughness. On the
other hand, the grip and the handling is so enormously
improved

RareM5: The car was originally owned by Klas before me and
Klas never likes to have his cars badged in any way. He did
not have the M5 badge in the back (I bought it and put it on).
To my knowledge, when you order your M5, you can order it
without the M5 badges on the sides, which is what Klas
originally did.

Best regards,

Fedde

nice!
did you notice any change of acceleration speed with the new rims, since they're probably quite a bit heavier?

tfung: To be honest I was surprised about the fact they are not
that much heavier. I did not notice any change in acceleration.
Only an enormous improvement in handling

UCSDxB0i: No, I can actually turn as much as with the "normal"
wheels on But, if I make a U-turn driving really slowly, I
do hear the front wheels slightly scratch against something in
the wheel house.

When it comes to speed bumbs and other stuff like that I do not
have any problems at all, but then I have always been careful
with speed bumps...

Awesome.. that's an ultimate stealth! Since you put your badge back on, are you planning on replacing side as well?
