How do I adjust seat belt height

It looks as if I can adjust the height of the belt holder on the door pillar behind my shoulder but can't figure out how to do it.

Can you enlighten me?

Move your seat forward and back. Watch the seatbelt height magically change.

There is no way (that I know of) to move it independently of the seat position.

The manual says
Quote:
The shoulder belt anchor automatically adjusts to continue providing an optimum fit when you move the seat forward or back.
There's no mention of any way to adjust the height.

I agree with Louv. It drives me insane too. I'm farily tall, and the seatbelt height is set too low for me. But I can't adjust it without moving the seat farther backward than I'd like. If anyone ever figures out how to adjust the seatbelt height independent of the seat position, let me know!

I have asked this question to my Master Tech and people in BMW. The seatbelt height is not manually adjustable.
