Swedish magazine "Teknikens Värld" tests the M5 with impressive results!!

In their latest issue, the Swedish magazine "Teknikens Värld" has a comparsion-test between the M5 and the Jaguar S-Type R. This magazine always measure how much torque and horsepower the cars has at the wheels and the M5 had some impressive figures. 364 bhp at the rear-wheels and 465 NM. These figures are probably the best I´ve seen in an unmodified M5. Do I need to say the winner of the test?

The M5 recieved 5 out of 5 stars of course

How many stars did that supercharged wind-bag receive? I bet it got 3 for "luxury" or something stupid like that.

Although the result is amzing they measure at the wheel axles not at the wheels, there is a significant difference.

Maybe you have an older test from TV where you can compare it?

BTW, It also the M5 won against the "Supercharged windbag" in the recent issue of Swedish Auto Motor & Sport.

Cheers,
/Johan

If I remember correctly that's the article where they mention the Jaguar reps being a bit nervous when the journalist picked up the car and told then the Jaguar was up aginst the M5 , they went on saying it was not meant to be an M5 killer and so on and so on

I have also read this one. A clear win to the M5.

The journalists also wrote that a real problem with the Jag was that if you were at a standstill and gave it full gas and then secs. later had to brake, the engine is so powerfull (compresser) that it was very hard to stop - the engine was still making the car go forward even though the fod had left the gaspedel!!!

Not a good thing.
