Stuart,
most definately, make the arrangements to go. If you have done a lot of driving schools, you might find some of the excercises a bit remedial, but its fun and you get to drive their M5s! I didnt go when I had my 00 M5, but I went for the Z8 one and I absolutely plan to go when I get the next M5. Im sure you want all kinds of details, but the easiest thing to do is just do a search of the board here and youll find them. Also, the staff treats you very well. I had a truly wonderful time and I have yet to read of a story where someone had a bad experience, well, actually there was one story about a guy trying to access the Biltmore's computer network, but so long as you leave work at home, I think you'd have a blast.

Stuart,

Run a search here and you'll find tons of posts/descriptions on the M5 Driving Experience. (There is a separate/different M school that is a 'driving school') My guess is that most board members here (car enthusiasts as opposed to regular car owners) would encourage you to go to the DE.

Since you're in Maryland it's practically next door, so all the more reasons to attend. I flew cross-country to attend, and absolutely loved it. If nothing else, you can flog their M5 in manners that you'd never flog your own (at least I wouldn't ). It's an absolutely first class program, try not to miss it.

Enjoy your car.
