You're on a quest for a B12 5.7 Coupe?

Then this isn't for you because it is not a genuine Alpina.

The driver has killed himself in a 750 and the dealer who owns this car now paid little money to get the 'B12' from the bank. It is for sale now at EUR 24,900.

It's not a real Alpina because, although it was converted by Alpina (by request, as was said to me), it has no Alpina serial number.

It had minor rear end damage although not from a crash (that's what I was told). The exact number of owners is unknown as well.

However, if you want B12 5.7 performance but not necessarily in a genuine Alpina, this is it! If the condition of the car is okay and all of the above has been confirmed on location, of course. Best bang for the buck.

Wow, that was quick.

Today at noon I found the ad myself (couldn't have been online for long) and when I called it was still available. No wonder it went away so quickly regarding the price...

Mike

This car was for sale 18 months ago and I had it check out then. I can't remember what it was, but it had many issues. And even though the price was right I turned it down...

Also the Vin was from a 850ci and not a CSi, so who knows how good the conversion was done, as the owner I spoke to didn't have any of the docs. He thought it was an original ALPINA.....

18 months? Was it the one from Dachau, near Munich?

It seems that you are on a first name basis with every B12 coupé out there, Carl

Will you be at the Nürburgring in August?

I actually saw it at about the same time as Carl T
I had already the photos on your own site - see under tuning photos - it 'sthe blue car with the following number on the plates: DAH - M 850.
2 years ago this car was offered to me.
this car is not a real b12. this is its history:
original bmw 850i, manual 6-gear, crashed in 1995, rebuilt with An alpina b12 5.7 engine and look.
The car is now without airbags.
So this explains the low price, doesn't it?

Carl T, if you're still interesting in a B12 5.7l , I can get you one from a friend
Unfortunately I can't buy it now, a bit too expensive for me, but it is like new

Some details :

B12 5.7 Shiftronic
it is cosmosblack, leather bufalo black, light wood, 02/96, 17.800 km, all services.

price: EUR 59.900,00 no vat. interested?

And Mike C. & Carl T , why don't you come to Dijon Meeting in August (23/24/25), there will be some great E31s inc. Hartge H2 and Alpina B12s

AAAAAAAAAARRRRRRRRRRRGGGGGGGGGG!

I hate this! Last year I was all over looking for a B12 and couldn't find any really nice ones. This year there are several and I go and use my money on a house.

By the time I get enough money to buy one again I'm sure there will be none for sale.

I'll have to hold tight for a while and hope they don't all dispear...

Regarding the wannabe B12. I was thinking of buying it as a parts cars / daily driver. But I thought the DM60000 was too high for a crashed rebuilt somthing.... I guess it would be worth it just in parts alone, but it was over half of my Alpina fund at the time, so I opted out.

You're right, I have three B12 5.7l for sale
Two are red and +120000kms and the last one is the black shiftronic perfect beauty

Unfortunately it's a bit too soon for me, and I want a blue one !

They will be sold again , but will have more kilometers, more owners, etc....

Maybe with the new M6 some lucky B12 owners will want to sell their cars .....
