Here's a good review of the 7. They don't spend a lot of time on the iDrive and the trunk :crying:. Hopefully this bodes well for the E60. After all it's about the driving :D

RS Bimmer^^^^This article is just brilliant

I think alot of folks here on the board is talking extremly
negative about the new 7-series,, okey the car is not the most beuty at first time.......but you more and often you look at this automobile it is just fantastic, and all the gimmies in this vehicle
it is just amazing Here in Reykjavik (Iceland) the BMW importer
has just sold 5 cars in a 150.000 peoble area and we DONT HAVE HIGHWAYS OR AUTOBAHN JUST 90 KM,,LIMIT.
This car is extremly well equipped standard and IMHO, this is the
best luxury sedan on the market today

Hi,

Yep. I'm starting to like  the new 7. I went back to the dealer and played with the IDrive again. It's actually not too bad and in fact may be a winnner once all the bugs have been worked out. I just hope those with the 2002 system can easily download the next version.

As for driving...well, it handles phenomenonally. I was surprised how agile this car is. It looks bulky but that thing can corner and take off!

There's another review in Bimmer Magazine which is also favorable.
