Tunning Shop... Have you guys hear about RBTech??

Have you guys hear about a tunning shop called RBTech?
It's located in downtown LA, and they specialize in tunning the BM, Porsche, Mercedez, and Ferrari.

I'm wondering if they do a good job in tunning and etc, also how is their reliability.

Any Idea? Please give me some feed back,
Thanks a lot...

Here is their link...

Thanx for the info...

So you don't think it's quite a good idea to send the car to them for mod...
b/c my friend just got a c32, and is thinking of sending it to them as well....i guess that's a bad idea then...

No dont !!! For one they stick C320 Springs on the C32 which is
drastically heavier, they try to rip Renntech parts and there
resonator is the wrong size !!!!!

Goto Renntech !!! Seriously they have been ULTRA EXCELLENT !
There suspension is 1'st class !! Black M5 drove my car after
the Renntech setup and said "Feels like a true sports car now"
Seriously !!!!

In the end they are cheaper as well and they know what they
are doing !!! Rb Tech advertises they have an experienced
Mercedes Tech doing the tuning, Renntech on the other hand
has Helmut Pfiel the ex head of engine design at AMG !!!!
Also Renntech parts tend to be manufactured by AMG and
if you bring it to the dealer they will tell you Renntech parts
are often the best !!! As for RB Tech they are simply rip off's !!

You know, Brabus is also a very good tuner for Mercedes as well. I know they are generally more expensive, but there is a reason why. I would consider them actually a notch above Renntech in terms of quality.

They are really the only tuner who manufactures their own stuff, plus they get a lot of support from Mercedes.

Brabus is equivalent to an Alpina or Ruf in terms of their reputation and prestige. Plus, they have a huge facility in Newport Beach. Brabus North America's president, James Dunphy is a really nice guy.

I think the guy might have wanted to tune his porsche seeing that this is a porsche forum... so no point suggesting him go with Brabus or Renntech...

probably best go with Ruf or Gemballa, etc... some of the more reputable companies...

Sorry for the misunderstanding...

Dear people,
the reason i mentioned that shop is b/c they offered me a really low low low price to add GT2 bodykit on my turbo...

and also My friends have a c32 and a Bm 325ci....and are planning to send it to them for stereo system upgrade plus some other mod....

i guess we're going there anymore....since the reputation is really bad so far.....

Only a true porsche enthusiast can tell a turbo from a GT2 even if the turbo has the GT2 kit so you might want to do something about the exhaust because the GT2 is LOUD
Why not get a Techart kit instead? or the turbo aerokit?

One shop in LA that is really good for Porsche is By Design, off the Robertson exit on the 10 Fwy. They do really good work, and they have a lot of happy customers.

Their pricing also appears very aggressive as well. I would check them out...
