I would be happy if the next M5 was....

I think it should ahve enough power to compete witht he new mercedes and RS6... should have the traditional styling of a BMW... but maybe something that makes it stand apart.
And it has to be a car that we all can love :)

I think well get a lot of what Black M5 says but I think torque will be lower and weight will be lower.

Id also like to add, I want that logic 7 sound system! and BMW should get smart and sell an "M super exhaust" or something that has a louder sound- this way they could bring in some dough lost to the after market.

SMGIII.. Son has SMG in his 2002 M3. Very slick system.(Try it before you poo poo it)

Prefer E39 look. BMW would have to REALLY screw up the looks for me to back out of the deal.

Think they'll keep the price reasonably affordable. $80K??

a AWD system and that SMG3 ohh baby.
