Wow, great looking color. You made a great choice. Not the hastle of black but not the no-shine effect of silver. By the way, speaking of Tip-Tronic, does anyone know the actual percentages as to how many 996tt are tip vs. manual? I would think everyone would get manual but I guess there are people out there that can't go with a stick.

I believe it's about a 50/50 split, tilted a bit in the favor of the manual.

That is crazy. I did not think it would be anywhere near that. I was thinking more along the lines of 70/30 in favor of the manual. Wow, I thought the Turbo was an enthusiest's car. Guess there are some serious show offs that could care less about performance in Turbos then. Thanks for answering the question.

A lot of us for whom the 96TT is a little out of reach would opt for the stick, but it seems those with something to prove only want the "show"...(as opposed to the "go")
