Post Dinan Stage II vs. Stage III. $249 camber plates??

From what I can read, the only difference between stage 2 and stage 3 is the addition of camber plates. The price difference between the packages is $249. Unless I'm taking my M5 to the track (which I'm not), what improvement would I notice? For that matter, is the rear swaybar worth the extra $230 between stage 1 and stage 2?

Rear sway bar a definite must! You'll notice it on freeway driving with passengers. Rear end ends up all over the place (I know exageration! Just call me Gore!) in corners with stock system. New sway bar tightens up that feeling considerably!
Best bet, try out Stage II. If you like and think a little less understeer is needed, add the Camber plates later.

Camber plates are cheap, installing them is not.

I'm in the process of making the same decision and am trying to get an appointment to drive Steve's car when there's a window with it put together. Will post my decision.

I've got a stage IV in my E28 with camber plates and am running slightly less negative than optimum for handling to get more even front tire wear and can't tell the difference -- handling is beautifully neutral and predictable.

My dealer is ordering the Stage II system for me for an install of late this week. I spoke to my mechanic about this issue..and his advice was to go for the Stage II and then install "adjustable" camber plates later.. since the Dinan ones are not adjustable. This because I do not plan on much track use from my car, if any at all. I don't want the negative camber settings to chew up my front tires.

I will also be installing the rear Dinan strut brace at the same time.

I will let you guys know how it went after it is done?... I expect a big improvement in the plowing problem the M5 has under extreme braking. I have been told that the new suspension makes the car behave much better?.. We will see.
