          Exhaust Headers for V12s

Does anyone know where one can get aftermarket Exhaust headers for the V12? RD is sold out, and are not going to make any more... ALPINA I'm sure will not sell theirs...

          Any leads are appreciated.

          Carl

          Hei Johan

          Hvordan går det?

          Not for personal use unfortunatly....

A friend of mine is building a all tricked out 6.0 for his 850ci , and is in need for some good exhaust headers.

          Hi Mike

You guys are just to nosey All I know at the moment, is that he is stroking the engine ala Hartge. There will be some change to the cam and the target hp is around 450hp. Don't have more details, the project hasn't started as he is still in the parts aquiring stage and has come up empty on a good set of tubular exhaust headers ala ALPINA of RD....

So if you have any leads, please let me know so I can pass the information.

          Regards
          Carl

PS I'm checking your www every day, hoping to get more info on the E31/E24 testing platform....

          Whoa, let me explain, Carl...

sometimes it's hard to be a moderator, especially when you click 'edit' instead of 'quote' and then wonder why the text isn't quoted. So it happened that I was overwriting your text

Then I was asking myself why I posted with your name .

But I was able to restore your posting from my cache (lucky me).

And now that what I wanted to say

Well, the update will take at least another week. I haven't even finished compiling the information and build a german version. I then have to translate all those special terms. In addition... there has been and will be much to celebrate these days

But concerning the testing platform I have already posted everything I know about it. Sorry.

          ...Mike

Yes to much power is an Evil thing . I've done the same thing a couple of times, but caught myself in the act before submitting...

I'm still looking forward to the www updates.
