          OT: New Bentley Hunaudieres...

          Oo la la...


          Engine 8.0 liter aluminum V16 engine. 64 Valve W16 (4 rows of 4 cyls in 'W' position). Two banks of eight cylinders, each of which has two sets of four cylinders staggered at a 15-degree angle output a staggering 623HP.
          Transmission This huge amount of raw power is smoothly delivered to all four wheels through a manual 5-speed box.
          Tires Power and control is delivered to the ground via 20 inch wheels with F/R 265/30ZR-20 & 335/30-ZR-20 tires.

          THe magazines had this car in '99 i think (will check old CAR when I get home), but there has been no word after regarding production. And given that VW has produced all of their other W16 projects (including the new "Super Beetle" as it's been called stylistically), I'm not sure that this will ever see production. Pity, as it looks much better than the 1001bhp crazy car.

          Love the looks of the car but I am concerned about that engine. It is a new theory and has not proven itslef among the car manufacturers (please correct me if I am wrong). Also, why only five forward gears .

          That thing looks MEAN! the headlights kinda remind me of an Integra though ... .... VW certainly has come a long way from producing a simple "people's car" ..
