Question on my Angelibright for 2007 M5

I bought an Angelibright and when I was trying to install it the connector of the original angel eyes does not fit the Angelibrights.

          My car is 2007 M5.

I emailed Angelibright just now, and I'll be waiting for their reply.

          Anyone got this problem too?

He will send you the top piece. It comes out with 2 torx screws. The unit itself, LED, along with the chip is the same. After that, you should be fine.

Suggestion: Get a tiny bit of grease and lube the rubber seals before locking them in place. You'll thank me one day when you need to get it out.

Thanks for the reply EM 5.

Does that mean the 2007 M5 has a different body housing for the LED angel eyes? Because my friend who had the 2006 M5 had a perfect fit.

          Good advice from EM 5

The following advice from EM 5 is excellent:

"...Suggestion: Get a tiny bit of grease and lube the rubber seals before locking them in place. You'll thank me one day when you need to get it out."

I am disappointed that the v.3.0 is simply not very bright. We lined several cars up with OEM angel eyes and others' versions of the Angel iBrights and mine were less bright than the others. The color is fine, not the light output.

          Rick

I don't really know the Life Cycle in the Phillipines, but here in the states, the 06-07 is the same. I am guessing that since you are changing them, you have the same body style as the pre 08's in America. AngeliBrights just sent you the wrong ones... that's all. A simple "top piece" for the unit is gonna fit perfect (hopefully).

The guy (I forget his name) should know exactly the problem and will be able to get you out the pieces you need.

The folks at Angelibright have not yet replied to me. So I hope I can ask a few more questions from you guys.

Do I have to return the whole "units" to Angelibrights. Or they can send me some parts that will be compatible with my lighting system?

I am in the Philippines now. So the issue of sending back and forth is not as easy as in the US.
