Schnitzer Rear Window Spoiler ?

Anyone have one with some up close pics? I purchased a knock-off and the fitment isn't fantastically flush to the rear window... Think it will be alright once its stuck down...

Get what you pay for I guess

Lol, anyone with comments on theirs real or not? How did you mount it? Looks like a job for some strong double sided 3m tape...

Hate to be Dr. Doom, but don't forget adding spoilers might look cool to some, i agree, but they also slow the M5 down somewhat, as ANY spoiler does. This 4,100 lb car, minus driver, needs all the hp it can get.

Hot glue it; you may have some grabby handed phuck try and pull it off. I had the real ac rear deck lid on my e46 ///M3 (double stick 3m) and some scum bag comes by while it's parked infront of my mom's house and rips it off.

I have the trunklid and roof spoiler. I only by authentic products for several reasons; if I am going to pay 100k for a car why would I put some third rate knock-off on it, in addition ACS R&D the piece, I don't like thieves, thats what replicas are, period.

I will tell you from using ACS stuff for 3-4 cars they come with ACS glue, its easy to work with and cleanup. The parts fit almost perfectly.

Replicas fit like crap, use some clear glue that does not hold and better yet will run down and ruin your paint. If you're buying replica you can get two-way tape out of your vocabulary.

Hope that helped.

I don't really think there was much R&D put into a tiny little peice of plastic across the back windshield... and I'm certainly not paying 800 some bucks for something that costed them pennies to produce...

ACS uses wind-tunnels for their aero kits, if you think thats free set me up with one. So a polyurethane spoiler costs PENNIES to produce huh? they've let you see their balance sheet have they?

Look you can rationalize replica to yourself all day long, whatever floats your boat...but when it cracks or fits like crap remember its only going on a M5.

I know you have VAST amounts of experience at 20 years of age but companies that create deserve to not have their IP stolen, period. I know this is the age where people steal music, movies and anything else they can so its setting a standard, thats too bad IMO.
