My Exhaust Video...

The rain finally stopped for a little bit today...
I went out with a friend and recorded my exhaust.

You guys probably are wondering, why would I go this route... The only exhaust I liked was the Erace... but the whole scandle happen so I just said forget about it. I got the simliar tips but thats about it. I think my exhaust will get a little deeper/louder.. It's only been 4 days since I installed it..

Let me know what you guys think

- Josh

edit: i had the camera man check if it was safe to run that stop sign.

Oval are authentic Eisenmann.

Hope your camera guy was keeping an eye out at that intersection with the big STOP sign!

I knew I forgot to put something in the post!
The camera man was checking before I blew that stop sign.
Sorry about that, I know how people hate stupid drivers like that...

Sounds very nice from outside. There appears to be a bit of a droan on the interior. I read you only had it for 4 days, however, have you taken it for a long drive to see how the cabin sound is? Or is it an issue?

Again, exhaust sounds great on the street!

thanks alot. there was alot of droan the first two days but as the days go by the droan becomes less and less, on the freeway cruising at 80 mph in 6th gear, you cant even tell i have a exhaust. (the windows were down in the video) i've had passengers in the car and all the windows up and they didn't even notice a difference in the noise!

Josh, that sounds great!

As you may be aware, I am testing the prototype for RPI's exhaust and that was a concern I had as to what the sound in the cabin would be like during cruising speeds (around the same speed 60 to 80 in 7th gear). I noticed the same phenomena, almost like no exhaust at all. Some other systems I have read about have required the owners to look for sound insulating material for their trunks and other parts of the car because of drone.

Sounds (no pun intended) like your system is ideal on both fronts. Great acceleration and high revving sound, yet quiet for cruising. Again, nice video!

Thanks alot, I remember you from the RPi meet. Your exhaust sounded sweet and those C21s must be amazing. How much did you pick them up for? (if you don't mind me asking)

Josh,

I bought the HRE comp 21's from Gabe at RPI. I got a sweet deal. $2,300 for the set (with worn out tires) including the TPM straps. I believe HRE sells them for $1,300 a piece. They are very light! definitely reduces unsprung weight.
