Calling Canucks/ New Registry thread

I have been a member of this board for a while now and am curious as to why there are no threads in the Canadian Forum for M5 owners.
Lets start a registry thread!

I'll be first ( I guess... )

New E39 M5 owner in Kelowna, BC

This thread is timely as I have just returned from a trip to San Francisco with my 2002 E39 M5. I have owned a 1991 M5 for 11 years ( still have it, now wife's car) and felt it was time for something a little newer and faster.

Did 1325 miles up the California/Oregon coasts with it and enjoyed every mile ! Even after all trip costs including taxes and duties...I'm still about $14,000 ahead from what the local dealer wanted for a 2001 !!

Just ordered a Britalman exhaust for it to make it a little "throatier" and am considering the SS headers and a set of Konis ( they did wonders for my '91)

If you guys want an M...the time is NOW..with the Canadian dollar the way it is !!

Another Kelowna owner here. Imported my 01 last year from Seattle and like Barrie save at least 10K over the local price. The dollar wasn't as strong back then.

Barrie, we will have to get together some time.

I was wondering if I just couldn't navigate through the site well enough to find the report from your US tour. Given all the fun you seem to be having at home, I guess I'm not surprised. Candace and Otis say hi! The bobsled track opens with ice in 2 weeks- come back 'cause the ride is even faster!!

Dave
PS- Don't forget that Utah really sucks and people would be happier in Colorado where they can get all the drinks they want!!

That is right Utah sucks

Speaking of Park City, member Cerberos that I met in Portland, Oregon was actually responsible for Deer Valley a few years ago, before Sept. 11th 2001. I want to send you his regards as well.

I have a playlist here of the videos of my USA trip here:

http://youtube.com/view_play_list?p=30C5B7D04133FD43

with 10 movies online so far. I have HOURS of more videos to publish

Also, I have many nice memories of Moab, and they walk we had, that was spectacular!

More will come! Plan is to do all movies online, and after that do a pictorial report per every state.
