Unconfirmed story: Bugatti called Koenigsegg after their 400+ km/h run and wanted them to change their site...

... or else they would get sued by them, claiming the world's fastest car

How can they sue, if the koenigsegg is faster. It is what it is.

People at bugatti suck, and the car sucks too.

I know mr Errol-Frost, I am biased,

but I think this sue-thread is a perfect example *(however not confirmed) of the reverse-engineering fcukup the engineers made in their mind and shone through on the Veyron.

Ettore Buggati's cars where amongst the smallest of the racing car fields. The first to use light-weight alloy wheels in large-scale competition. How do you make a tribute to that brand? Ofcourse, by making an elephant on steroids. They should have put a Bugatti badge on the Caparo! Don't start with the "Royale" references, because the Veyron is hardly a limo.

And now, they are offending Koenigsegg with this BS about changing their website..Childish.

It's a moot point either way.

True, but that was acheived on a straight road, Nardo is banked so the CCX should really be driven where the SSC where tested.

I agree, quantities are probably so limited that it may as well not be a production vehicle. However, until someone sets some arbitrary number, that minimum will always be pushed. Koenigsegg, Pagani, and a bunch of others have very low production numbers too, at least compared with what we normally consider to be production vehicles.
