I asked my local Merc dealer and he has no clue when they will arrive in the US.

Does anyone here know when they will arrive in the US? Might need to get in the list now if I want one when they arrive.

They are going to put the supergharged 5.5l motor into the new E-series, perhaps even into the next CLK-series as well.. S and CL-class already got the 6.3l AMG engine so they will most propably not put another almost the same power output-giving engine into those. The M5 might just have a bad time with a E55kompressor, naturally in the autobahn style driving. Bends are not the M-B:s best habitat...

From the resarch I have done, it seems the newSL500 should be here around Early Summer (spring very optimistic) AMG (SL 55)model should follow 6 months (late fall).

I can't wait!!!
