Koenigsegg vs CGT

Just curious, how bad would the Koenigsegg walk the CGT, both in a straight line and around a road course? This car really intrigues me.

The CCR is one or two second slower than the Carrera GT on Nordschleife acocrding to Sport Auto. However it was only 4 degress celsius that day, and very low grip. So epect the CCX to be much faster on the ring.

IN the straight line the CCX will kill the CGT, I have talked to an owner who raced one.

And furthermore wasn't it set up for the high speed run at Nardo? And no rear wing? I think it can whip the Porsche anytime.

When I was at the Las Vegas Motor Speedway driving the CCX, one of the people test driving drove his CGT to the track. Straight from the horses mouth, there's no comparison.

That's impressive. The Carrera GT have a better time however on Sport Auto Nordschleife, but the time of the CCR was partly attributed to the low temperature of the surface when tested the CCR (4 degrees celsius).

What temperature was it when they tested the Carrera GT? I find it impressive that the CGT was faster considering that it weighs more and has almost 200 bhp less.

CGT was summer I guess. Not sure, but not as cold as the CCR.

I saw that you signed up for a CCX, but planned to let it go before delivery?
What are the status now?
(I personally wouldn't be too sad if you have changed your mind and are buying it, take lots of photos, and give a thorough review of it.... )

Koenigsegg have not certified their CCX yet what I have heard. I was at Exotic Motors in Las Vegas and they have sold 8 but none delivered.

Yeah, I've decided to start up businesses instead. It's sad, but it's the wiser way to go.

NobleM400: ok, well that Noble you have are perhaps enough to keep you smiling down the road?!

dkim996tt: i dont now the price, but would guess that part of the increase is due to that the $ have dropped quite a lot versus the swedish SEK over a year..., but hey, sell one of your 996 and that will make up the difference... Is there a price gap between a "regular" CCX and the CCXR (if you can choose the CCXR over there)?
