How many supercharged 540i on M5board?

Just curious. I really enjoy this car a lot. I just had to replace the MAF and the 02 sensors in it. Tomorrow I will do the crank, camshaft and coolant temp sensors just because I know they're next. Car has over 100,000 miles on it. But it has been very reliable and is faster than my modded jaguar s type r.

Basically, this thread was just a indirect offering for supercharged bmw owners to come forward and express their joy or lack of such with their forced air vehicles. Really no need for an argument. Of course there are many threads here. Many of which are very old and who knows if they still actually own the said supercharged bmw. Thanks.

Could be interesting to find out how many 540i Supercharged owners are lurking. I'll make it a sticky for a very short amount of time.

I know of two others: member 'Blown 540' and 'T-trim 540'. T-trim's car is in the final stages of a full build, including internals. It promises to be a real screamer.

May I come in?

I have a 2000 model 540iA. Supercharged @ 5 psi.

Air to water intercooler, Rotrex supercharger, a custom kit.
I did not focus on this kit much, it is just a project where we worked for 2 weeks and had a custom made kit. By the time started this 540iA, I had no cars to charge, (my 2 M3s were sleeping). So it is a not very professional kit.

I dont even drive the 540 charged due to 1 main reason:

There is no limited slip dif on the 540iA. At low speeds, no control at all. One wheel spins, 540iA changes direction, no way to control with counter-active steerings.

This baby is sleeping on my garage, drive once a month
