Location of Bluetooth ULF 54 pin plug?

I have the bimmernav kit for my June 2002 E39 M5 with Nav, TV, BMW/Motorola phone with compensator, DSP amp.
I have changed over the arm rest snap in adaptor, removed the existing motorola phone module from above the Nav unit and I have located all of the required antenna plugs, except for the 54 pin connector that plugs into the BMW/Bimmernav ULF module.
Martin is offline (hopefully he is in Saturday morning), and I have the rear of the car apart searching for this 54 pin plug that is supposed to be forward of the old phone module connector.

I have just about given up, and was hoping someone here may have had the same problems, and found the solution.
Hopefully this is not a Australia only problem.
Scott

I have an 03 so not sure if it's the same. I had to pull out the left side carpet by removing the plastic pin holders and had to dig some to find it. I think it was folded and strapped down with tie wraps which I had to cut and then the adapter was free to extend.

Good luck,
Jim

Pictures

Went out and took some pictures. The 54 pin adapter is at the end of the thickest cable which is protected by the soft cloth material as seen in the pictures.

M5CCIE,
mate, appreciate your efforts.
I finally have some satisfaction, knowing that I am neither insane nor incompetent.
Martin@bimmernav has confirmed my suspicions that my car (and probably all Australian spec M5) ship without that part of the harness.
The other good news is that an adaptor plug is (only) $90, but the downside is I now have to wait for it to arrive from the US.
Thanks again.
