New lights and intakes

The car is dirty and it was raining but I had to post some pics.

One pics is with my daughter...what can I say...she loves to have her pic taken.
You can see the in take rings in the grill. It seems like there may be a little quicker throttle response after those...hard to tell.

I have a 2000 as well and I'm planning to replace the lights soon. The main problem is that the original plastic is dull and makes the car look old.

Were than any issues with wiring or anything or was it all plug and play? The reason I ask is that I understand the Angel Eye rings may require a seperate power wire or something.

Thanks!

pretty much plug and play...I got Umnitza's with the HID in them already. For the AE I took the parking light wire for power (used a volt meter to make sure I got the right wire) and then grounded back into the parking light harness. The turn signal/parking light is a 2 filament bulb...ust make sure you get the right wire...no extra stuff.

Where did you get the intake rings from? I would like to do the same. Thanks!

AE....Are the P39 Projectors from Umnitza with their HID kit option. That's all I ordered.
Intake rings are sink drains from Home depot....stainless steel.

I looked at my Home Depot but could not find anything close to what you have. Could you please post a part number - maybe I can buy it online. Any additional info is greatly appreciated. Thanks!

I don't have that info...I think they were like 6.98 or 7 bucks a piece. I cut the back off of them with a hacksaw.

Are those 4300K Low beams or 6000k?

Next lighting upgrade is matching HID fogs?

They are the 6k...the 1st pic they aren't even on...it's just the reflectin of the flash. I still need to put in the bulbs for matching highs...then I'll do something with the fogs.

FYI - If you want to do the "sink drain" intake rings you should probably purchase the drains designed for a garbage disposal. Those just have the large opening, so no need to cut the backs with a hack saw. Otherwise a standard sink drain will taper down from the 4" opening to a smaller opening to attach to plumbing, hence the need to do some cutting.

I'm still trying to find rings more like the AA ones. I don't care for the sinkk drain approach, but thats just my opinion.
