I want a Ford Lightning

This is the first american car i have ever wanted, except the viper/maybe prowler and such. for 30g's you have a straght line performer. It looks pretty cool. and they are financing at 0 and 2.9 %!!!! With about 700 dollars in small mods, you are pulling high 12's. And you can haul bicks and lumber with it .

Sure the SVT Lightning packs a lot of ponies, but try taking it around a turn.

I saw one today while at work and it does attracts my attention when I see one. I especially like the exhaust coming out on the side of the car...looks really mean! Go for it!

P.S. I would call it the Ultimate Pickup!

I never really liked pickups but when I saw the lightning at the BC autoshow earlier this year, I really started liking it. It's a pickup on steroids and I wouldn't be surprised if it gave alot of cars a run for it's money!

The Lightning is an interesting piece of hardware. It's got huge amounts of straight-line grunt, the cornering grip is big even if it gets there the old-fashioned way (stiff springs, tight shocks, and big tires), but most importantly it's still a real truck with real towing capacity and fair hauling capability. The seats and steering are pretty good. And, for what it's got in it, it's cheap.

Really, it's got only two usable seats, the center "seat" might work for someone 4'8" or so.
