PDC Volume Settings - how to

I'm trying to find a way to reduce the volume for my Park Distance Control beeps - Just too loud for my taste.
I have an 08. The manual says the following: "On vehicles equipped with a single drive, you can increase or decrease the volume of the warning tones, e.g. for the safety belt reminder [the PDC is also mentioned on next page].
Anyway, WTF is a "Single Drive". I guess I don't have a single drive, as I have searched the iDrive for the Volume Settings shown in the owner's manual. It just doesn't exist on my car.
Does anyone know what cars come with this volume adjustment?
I have the Enhanced premium sound - does that have anything to do with eliminating this function?

On a side note: I've seen very little on what you actually get with the Enhanced Premium Sound. It costs $700US and I'm not sure what you get over the standard Logic7 stereo.

Well as every decent military man will tell you, SSS (commonly known as the three "S"s), stands for the typical morning regimen -- Sh$t, Shower, and Shave....

As to PDC, try lowering the volume when PDC is active.

Finally, as to the sound system, it sounds (ha) as though it's the new Dirac upgrade, see here.

you dont have to show that you are new to this website by asking whats SSS stands for , i think most of the guys here knows SSS.
anyway, "for your education son" SSS is Software Service Station.
and CKM is the Car Key Memory.
to change the PDC sound settings you need to visit your dealer and ask them to do so. they know how to do it, i dont need to explain. but its CKM settings done by SSS.
Got it????

I see. I guess with me being "new" to the board with only 50 fold your 35 posts, I am just too wet behind the ears to know what "most of the guys here knows (sic)"! Thanks so much for enlightening me!

+1. farhod is the 2nd BMW employee that I've seen here that has nothing but disdain for customers. What's your problem? I agree with m6ontheway. If you hate customers so much, find another job. And don't give us the crap of 'I love working on cars, just hate the ignorant customer.' News for ya pal. You wouldn't have a job to work on cars without a client. Grow up and show some respect.

I don't really post much here... but I do a lot of reading on this resourceful site (M5Board).

Most of the posts that are made here, in this section are made by those who would like to share their knowledge on the car and to help other fellow members.

Farhod... a lot of members here are used to this type of contributions from other members who are true car enthusiast. To say the least... your post are more inclined to arrogant, I'm the s**t and I know everything, and I am better than you type of comments. I don't think that many of us here will appreciate that type of comments.

So do us a favor... stop posting and save the bulls**t to yourself... there are members here who would chime in and share their knowledge as a car-enthusiast what SSS and CKM is... without making the members who doesn't know what these jargon means look stupid!!
