I've had a couple of yellows which went away by themselves - just wondering if this is cured by s/w upgrade (I've had the hydralic actuator done)..

I have v25, and have had no warnings except for Low GAS every day!!!

I had a Reg Cog of Death with V.25. Car logged trans fault in I-drive with a wrong time and date.. Restarted car and RCOD was gone, but fault remains.

Dealer replaced the SMG.

Car still has the Fault logged in the I-drive. I has the wrong date and time. I think they can't remove the fault code.

Prognosis is not good.

Car won't engage 3rd gear at all. Skips straight from 2 to 4 then down to 2.

They will have a good look at it on Monday but it sounds like I may be getting another new gearbox (number 4 for those who are counting). Surely some sort of record

Ashok, I cannot believe this is happening to you! Have you contacted BMW about just getting another car??

I really feel sorry for you...when are you getting rid of your M5?

Have you had the actuator done in your current gearbox?
