Wash/polish/wax

What are you guys using to get the excess wax out of the various crevices/seams etc?? It seems to tbe the biggest part of the detailing chore for me.

Also, what do you use on the black side molding? Ditto for the "vinyl" dashboard??

For the wax in the cracks I use a 100% cotton made in the USA towel, dampened with zaino gloss enhancer, or any of those detailing sprays. If it is real tough to get to maybe a paint brush which has firm, non scratching brissels.
My black side moldings get mothers back to black stuff, applied with a rag. It comes in a red bottle.
Vinyl dash gets wiped down with the zymol vinyl stuff, once this bottle is used up though I am going to switch, it is way overpriced.

If you can not get the wax off of your body molding all you need is a little super-fine steel wool. Being careful not to touch your paint, just rub the steel wool (make sure it is the finest steel wool you can buy) on th emolding and immediately follow with some type of vinyl or plastic conditioner. There are many out there. It is very important to follow with the conditioner because the wool will leave it very dry and unprotected from the sun's UV rays.

Meguiar's has a product called "Trim Detailer" - works great. I use it for both these purposes.

Also, some waxes leave a lot more residue than others. You might try switching....
