Leasing in Brunei? Somehow, I think that money is the least of his concerns. From what i recall as well, he actually has hardly seen many of these cars. They are stored and maintained by a dedicated staff. And believe me, the car collection is probably the LEAST lavish collection he has. Think jets, hotels, homes, yachts. I read somewhere that he owns one of the largest mansions on the west coast, and he has never actually even stayed there before.

More evidence of oil money

Sorry but these guys have more money than brains!

The reason that you see no recent cars is the huge drop in net worth in the 90's. The Sultan killed his brother's bank accounts . . .

If he sold all of those cars, made sure they all get put back onto the road, the extra oil revenue generated would put him back into the black, pay for a few Enzo's, and probably have a measurable effect on global warming. You don't need brains when ya got oil.....

What I really fail to understand is how did this guy get to be the king? I mean, really? This country got its freedom in 80s or 90s and the British still allowed (wanted) a monarchy there as opposed to a representative government? WTF?

That's absolutely insane!

I don't know if the Bultan of Brunei still is, but he used to be the second richest person in the world... Only Bill Gates had more money - imagine what Bill could buy...
