Erm, well, all mid-engined supercars bear a certain similarity to each other, but it's probably fair to say that the C2 bore the same genetic strand, passed down from the Turbo, the M1, E31 and that E34-based showcar with the needle nose. IIRC, the C2 dates from the mid-1990s, no?

The one & only M8 S70 engine is a 48 valve V12, featuring 550 horse power in the M8 prototype. The car was designed to be a Ferrari killer.However, it was never produced due to low market demand

Everytime I see Nazca I remember M8 as well. I don't understand why BMW is not making one lightweight sports car. Not that it matters but obviously Sultan would buy 5 immediately.
