Experiences with Emmenegger (CH)?
Just wondering if anyone has dealt with Emmenegger in Switzerland with regards to servicing or buying Alpinas?

You should ask Beat Ettlin from buchloe-cars.ch - I think he knows them.

I have been at Emmenegger for checking my M3 engine (compression testing etc.)
Emmenegger has a lot of know-how about E30 M3 and older Alpina engines (M20 and M30 based, incl BT).

Weren't they the guys who offered a wide-arch, 380 bhp, big-brake E34 conversion about a decade ago?

I've seen a 4.0L stroker E34 M5 there with (AP Racing?) brakes there.
there's a thread on this forum:

Mill
That is the car in question;
Lemme dig up some old magazines , I think it was featured in 1997 or so. They mentioned the upcoming E39 M5 as a reason not to do the conversion IIRC.

My M5 has been to Emmenegger a few times, nothing major, Diff seals etc.
Always had a very good level of service from them.
They always have a few Alpinas for sale on the forecourt and one of the two Bi-Turbos currently on offer has only 55k Km on it :

From what I remember it is very tidy too....
It has been up for sale for some time and was originally priced about 5k CHF higher if I remember (not that I'm keeping my eye on it )
