      Sources for B6 3.5 gearbox mounts?

      Hi guy's
      does anybody know what car the gearbox rubber mounts came from
      I took the old ones to BMW but the could not help me
      I have fitted two from a 325i box but these are smaller a rubber bush
      I have reshelled the car and have it ready to go to the paint shop
      just need these bushes and a gear knob as somebody borrowed the orginal

      The part numbers from Alpina are:
      24 71 1 127 288 (until 9-1987)
      23 71 2 225 624 (from 9-1987)

      There is a very good chance these are also the BMW part numbers. I think there is a good chance these are E28 528i/535i gearbox mounts.

      I'll post some photo's when the car has been painted ,I know it will not be orginal (reshelled into an car I got from Italy) but, it should be a lot of fun
      The donor car was no.0098 but was totaled in an accident in south England
