I was driving through a corner and my uncle says "floor it!". So we were catching CJ and his BT. We thought he wanted to play because he wasn't accelerating that hard. So when I passed him @ 240-250 (damn limiters) I see the signs "Buchloe" and had to brake because CJ knew the way. Then he overtoke us and I was close behind him when the first clouds of smoke came out the exhaust . Then it stopped for a second or 2 to 3. After that.... CJ was making a huge smoke bank on the highway . He directly stopped at the side of the highway and turned the engine off. I checked the car and no outside leakage could be fined. No spectaculairy fires or so only a huge amount of smoke.

It seems the service book has been found. Bizarre, the owners email to me dated only 27/03/2007 stated the previous owner was unable to find it hence it was sold without...

For those who speak German here is the email (Google can translate if you don't ):

Hallo Herr XXXXXX,

He just replied to my email, he did have it after all ... So either it is not the original one or he did find it but then the original statement does not fit. I might be getting hung up about a techcnicality but even if it is the genuine one he tried to blame it on the previous owner - so that makes me think what else is a 'story'...

As usual everyone has to make up their own mind

Appearantly, nothing.

Just that it has the price tag belonging on such car .

As you know, most people are looking for the White Raven, preferably for sale in the next village for 90% of the amount they have on their bank account

The only documentation on nr 505 is the invoice when they changed Turbos at 60000 km ! I think that most people who want to buy a BT with this km and are prepared to pay that price , also want to have full documentation at least I should................

Itīs really sad that this perfect(exept the documentation) BT has this "problem" But iīm sure nr 505 finds a buyer anyway , someone who donīt care so much about servicebooks and documentation and just wants to have a really good BT, but I think it will take time !

When I was there last summer with two friends we only asked if there was full documentation and the answer was ...yes , and we felt that we had no reason to belive something else !

And my friend was not so interested in the car ( !!! ) so we didīt look at any papers

I promise you , I was as surprised as you when I heard this !!!
