Thinking of selling M5 and getting a B5

I test drove a B5 2 days ago and I was seriously impressed. The power delivery, comfort level and pace of the car have been tormenting me ever since :-) I love my M5 and have driven over 30'000 kms without a single problem, unlike some of the other guys on this forum! However, certain things do get on my nerves about the car...smg is first on the list, great for the track but annoying at times on the road. 2nd imperfection is Suspension stiffness even in comfort mode. At times the car is very Choppy.

For what it is worth, I moved from a previous generation M5 to a B10 V8s. I did 60,000km in my 2002 M5 and have now down 70,000km in my B10. When you are really really pushing it, driving at 10/10th's, the M5 is better suited. For the other 99.9% of the time, the B10 is a far better overall proposition. Comfort, range, a better gearbox, more relaxing ride. From what I have read, I believe the same holds true for the current generation...

You forgot to say that B5 is faster.
