Thanks Raymond. So I guess the B7/1 is based on the E28 then. Now it makes sense to me...

The B7S Coupe was also a limited edition but this time to only 30(!) cars. It has the same 330bhp engine as the Saloon and I think all of them was painted in Alpina-green instead of the blue.

462/2500
12/78 - 2/82

B7S Turbo Coupé E24
243/330/5800
500/3000
5/82 - 9/82

B7 Turbo Coupé/1 E24/1

Post B7S Turbo Coupe - which chassie?

Does anybody know if the B7S Coupe is based on the early E12-chassie or the later E28?

Hi Janne,

The E24 6 series was introduced in 1976, so the B7(S) coupe is based on the E12 chassis.

I did not know that there was a B7S coupe. The only B7S I know of is the E12 of which only 60 where build.

With best regards,

Raymond

I must say that you can´t trust all the figures in Edition/weiss-blau´s book. But it´s a great book!!
