European track event or summer meeting?
Here in Germany we have the nastiest snow storm of the year, and now is a good time to plan a nice event (or two) for the summer!
I am a member of BMW Club Denmark and the German Alpina Gemeinschaft. Last yeat there was an excellent track event in Denmark arranged by BMW Club Denmark, but for some reason they haven't planned any such event this year. There is the annual Scandinavian BMW meeting and track event on Ríng Knutstorp in Sweden on August 11-12, but are anyone else on this board aware of any other arrangements that might be of interest? Arrangements all across Europe are of interest.
Let us plan ahead for the upcoming season of driving pleasure!
Michael

Hi there B8 Guru
You are more than welcome to participate in our BMW Club meeting in Norway Mai 19-20 on Rudskogen racetrack.
We start Saturday with some free driving on the track and a "Master starter" competition.
Most of us stay in a Hotel until Sunday ( Big party) where we also has a "Masterdriver" competition. 1 lap against the clock.
I would be happy to get some competition from Germany. Maybe you can beet me, no one else seems to be able to do that ( small joke).
Anyway u are welcome with your B8, we have never had an B8 on our meetings.
Regards
Erik

Hi Erik,
Thanks for your invitation! Maybe we can persuade Gustav to join us for some serious track time! The program sounds like fun. And I will be able to practice my Norwegian (I am from Denmark). Where can I find more information on this, and how do I register for the event?
By the way - any Alpina enthusiasts are welcome at the annual German Alpina Gemeinschaft meeting!

I'm not sure if the following events would be of interest to any of you guy's, but one of the UK clubs are going over to Seefield, Austria in July of this year.
There is also a trip to the Nurburgring planned but the date of this I'm not sure, but it will be sometime in June.
Plus there is a tour of the BMW factory planned at the end of June.
try www.bmwccgb.org for more info.

I believe it must be, I have just had my club magazine delivered, and it only shows the date.
We are just about to sign up for the trip, we have never been there before, I expect it's as good as they say.

I'm good for it, if I can reserve a place on the trip with the group going over.
I expect there will be a few M3's (E36 mostly) plus the odd Alpina/Schnitzer etc.
Looking forward to it.
