Flywheel upgrade?

It seems like my B8 needs a new flywheel......so the question that pops up is. Are there any alternatives to buying the original Alpina part? Note that I use the original clutch so the flywheel needs to be compatible with that.

Any suggestions? Or for that matter, any suggestions to where to find the original Alpina part for a reasonable price? BMW here in Sweden charges 1100 eur so there has to be alternatives

Re: Flywheel upgrade?

the b8 flywheel is most likely a standard BMW part from the V8 Getrag 6-Speed Models (540i, 840i).

If you want a lighter Flywheel, something for the M5 E39 might fit.
