UK ALPINA meet at Gaydon 22nd August

Hi all,

As some of you have already spoken to me about Gaydon and lots more of you have spoken to me about meeting up - I am making the logical conclusion and making the suggestion of combining the two.

I've spoken to Craig and he informs me that the ALPINA part of the BMW Car club GB (which he runs) has not organised anything already. This is due to multiple reasons primarily, Craig being out of the country and also poor turn out in previous years.

So guys this is a great opportunity to fly the ALPINA flag and get as many ALPINAs together in one place as possible.

Look forward to meeting you guys

I'd love to go.

It does depend on how things pan out with the car though.

Re: UK ALPINA meet at Gaydon 22nd August

From Harwich, 3 hours is a decent speed/time legal time. Should be no more, best pass the cameras at the right speed (there's some right nasty ones just short of the Ixworth turnoff on the A14).

Re: UK ALPINA meet at Gaydon 22nd August

I'm afraid i can't make it.Facing some serious problems and real high costs at the moment. All in all it's going to be pretty expensive as well (340 euro ferry-ticket for starters) for just one day.
Sorry guys,some other time!
