I take it by those replies it's in a state of disrepair at the moment?

Thanks for your confidence... (not)
Anyway - not a cat's chance in hell it'll be ready for Gaydon this year (I was speaking to Craig today and he tells me though that your B10 will be - look forward to seeing it...)
Mine is currently still in the body shop where it has been for the last 6 months and will probably still be there in 6 months time (due to me telling the paintshop owner what needed doing and saying I wasn't in a hurry for it... now that was a mistake I admit..)
In truth as long as it's ready for next summer that'll do me.. (planning on poss taking it to Buchloe next summer for the German Alpina meet...)
Andy,
it probably wont make dover!!
just kidding, tell him to get his finger out, at least it will be tax exempt by the time its done!
oh you're a funny man!!!
anyway the Buchloe meet is being organised by the German Alpina Club (think B9BoyII has more details on when it should be)
this year it was in Berlin and has next year is the 40th Year of Alpina (or something) then they're planning for the meet to be at Buchloe - inc hopefully a factory tour...
so if you've got an Alpina (old or new) it would be a good time to take a trip over.
should be around mid-june 2005.
Buchloe, here I come, in fact I'm going to have a chat with Craig and see if the dates have been confirmed, as I think I'll book a hotel early so as to make sure I have somewhere to sleep! It'll be a big one that's for sure.
As for my B10, yep, I intend to get it there, dash is in bits, and I've now got two tyres to put on the rear, so it won't be long, not perfect, but it is a B10 e23! And that's the main thing.

and from what i understand... bargain of the century...
nearly added to my collection this evening.. (just got back from a trip to essex) to look at the Red B2.8 press car AAL754Y but sadly it wasn't for me.. too mush work needed...
but very cheap if someone whats a restoration project of a rare alpina.
let me know if anyone's interested as i've got the seller's details and indication of cost...
yep, that it was!
This red B2.8, what was the price, and where abouts in Essex? I replied to an ad some time ago, and never got a reply, I expect he can't sell it?
Can you mail me details?
