Thanks for the phone call and return email... Guaranteed I'll be in touch for mods maybe not for the Alpina as I wish to keep that standard but my other E28 that is being souped up somewhat..

Alpina B9

Hello , new on this great forum , lots of great cars here

I am from Norway and own a 1983 Alpina B9 3,5 Rhd with badge nr 5-287

I imported it from UK in September 2007 and are planning to restore her.

She is a nice driver today , but would need new paint and new doors and some
minor wlding in front .

Hi

BMW518. Yeah the same interior as mine only you have the side skirts where Mine did not get that option but I've got the rear spoiler Good find. You'll find most of the standard 1983 to 85 parts are very much the same except for the brakes and suspension parts. The body panels are the same for these models not for the later ones from what I understand.

Was a bit bored for a few evenings so decided to put (part of) my database with Alpina information online. Please excuse the graphic presentation - it needs some more work. Look forward to some feedback and then I'll put some more evenings into it to get it up to scratch.

Also - anyone that would like to contribute with more information about an Alpina or has higher quality images to share please use the 'Add to Archive' link or email alpina.register@bigfoot.com. Also I'd be happy to add links to owner profiles.

Interior: black leather (not the Alpina leather)

Some specs (from constructor):
Maximum power: 240HP
Maximum torque: 293NM
0-100km/h: 6.8s
Maximum speed: 252km/h

Currently with ~ 152.000km.
