Hi all... first time poster (long time lurker). Here are a few shots of my mid-life crisis car, an Alpina V8 roadster, also know as the Alpina Z8. It's number 116 of 555. Puts a smile on my face each time I drive it.

2008 B7 on the boat

The wait is almost over. My 2008 Alpina B7 in Jet Black over Black is on the boat and due to hit US shores in SC on November 4. I should take delivery between the 10th and the 15th. I feel like I have made it to the top of the BMW heap.

Previous BMWs in sequential order have been.
1960 BMW Isetta (mine)
1990 BMW 735i (wife)
1997 BMW 740iL (wife)
1997 BMW M3 (mine)
2004 BMW M3 (mine)
2002 BMW M5 (mine)
2007 BMW X5 4.8i (mine now but going to wife when B7 delivers)
2008 BMW Alpina B7 (soon to be mine)

Getting itchy with the wait now that it is getting close.

Power on............
