Hi all,

I picked up the car yesterday and I'm impressed. The interior is much more refined than the one from the m3. It makes you think, you sit in a completely different car. The seats are much more comfortable than the m3 seats and provide also better lateral support.

The engine is a class of it's own and the sound is just awesome (but could be a bit louder ).

The car is number #002 and the color is not alpina blue but "montreal blue" (at least the car documents say that). It has BBS RS 18" rims and is lowered with Eibach springs (but still more ride comfort than my previous M3 with sports suspension).

The car will go to a intensive check at my BMW-dealer soon, to make sure everything is 100% alright.

Hi,

here are some Infos on the car:

- production number 002
- montreal-blue metallic
- no Alpina stripes or badges (only Alpina signs are on the steering wheel, front spoiler and cockpit instruments, otherwise completely 'stealth ' ). The production number plate has been relocated to the inside of the glovebox.
- 126000 km on the clock
- first registration 4/1995
- Recaro seats, black leather without the green/blue stripes, full leather interior
- first owner (up to 25000 km) was most likely Alpina in Buchloe. Maybe Mr. Bovensiepen himself, who knows or maybe it was demo car for car shows etc.
Later in 1998? it was imported to Switzerland and garaged by Rolf Emmenegger (the Swiss "Alpina Guru")
-the car is lowered with Eibach springs.
- BBS RS 18x8.5" rims with Dunlop 225/40 and 255/35 tires (will be replaced with Bridgestone S03 235/40 255/35 next time)

Very nice car, congratulations How does the car feel with the 18" rims and the Eibach Springs ? Does anyone else have experience with this setup who had the original setup before ?

Cheers, Alex
